Our policies
XTND — Improving Futures (Charity No. 1141966) operates out of school clubs as an integral part of Bournville Primary School. We adopt the policies and procedures of the Extend Learning Academies Network (ELAN), which governs the school within which we operate.

Who we are
XTND — Improving Futures is a registered charity (No. 1141966) working within one of the most deprived estates in the South West. We aim to strengthen families by organising activities that expand horizons and raise aspirations, including activities for children, training and support for parents, and adult-focused programmes to increase life skills.
This privacy policy explains how we collect, use and protect your personal information when you visit our website.
What information we collect
Information you give us directly — for example, if you fill in a contact form, register for activities or sign up for updates. This may include your name, email address, phone number and any other details you choose to provide.

How long we keep your information
We only keep your personal information for as long as we need it. Contact form enquiries are retained for up to 12 months. Registration information for activities is retained in line with the ELAN Data Retention Schedule, which you can view on the ELAN Policies and Procedures page.
Website analytics data is anonymised and does not identify you personally.

Our charitable activities are designed to benefit children and families. Where we collect personal data about children through registration for our clubs and activities, this is handled in accordance with the ELAN privacy notices for pupils, which can be viewed on the ELAN Data Protection page.
This website is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children through the website itself.
